The Power of Your Name
THE POWER OF YOUR NAME Lincoln Brewster featuring Darlene Zschech
Surely children weren’t made for the streets And fathers were not made to leave Surely this isn’t how it should be Let Your Kingdom come
Surely nations were not made for war Or the broken meant to be ignored Surely this just can’t be what You saw Let Your Kingdom come Here in my heart
I will live To carry Your compassion...

90 degrees in April?
It would figure that after sitting outside today for lunch, under an umbrella mind you, I would get a tan. The tan lines left from my tank top are kinda interesting, and my nose is a little shiny.
Also, in the 5 minutes I was outside yesterday (in the 86 degree weather), I somehow managed to get a bug bite on my left middle toe. Who does that?
As I finish up studying for my Organic Chemistry I...

So today at work, I got to paint for like 2 hours. Nothing like Art therapy. End result, a beautiful sunflower, complete with shading, and a sky inspired by Vincent Van Gogh’s Starry Night.
I’m not too embarrassed to say that I’m watching iCarly. It always makes me laugh. :-)
Aside from the crappy weather, good day.

The Woman Caught in Adultery
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve had some of the best conversations of probably my life all due to the fact that they were 100% open, 100% honest and 100% non-judgmental. I think that sheer honesty is something so lacking in the Christian community today, and without it we are robbing each other of the kind of relationships God desires for us to have with each other. There is so much freedom in...

An endless stream of thoughts...
I believe music gives voice (sometimes more poetically) to the thoughts I cannot verbalize. I have all of these thoughts floating around in my head that are semi-encompassed in these passages of scripture or verses from some of my favorite songs. All of the human emotions that I want to express, but can’t or repress, seem to come out in musical form. I’ve never heard of something that...
Abraham is Tested
As I was praying and having quiet time today, God laid on my heart to read Genesis 22: Abraham Tested. I have read this story a bunch of times, and every time have marveled at Abraham’s actions. This time, I was curious about Abraham’s emotions. Genesis 22:1-2 Some time later God tested Abraham. He said to him, “Abraham!” “Here I am,” he replied. Then God...

Thank you Fall Retreat 09
So basically, the fate of Baltimore Cru was decided at a rest stop on 95 South by 4 women who are willing to let God work through them.
Rachael, Caroline, Lisa and I met at the first Starbucks we could find to talk about the weekend. God gave us all an amazing revelation, and basically, just blew our minds with this vision, passion and desire for this Bible Study. Originally, Hannah and I were...

Some of the most romantic love stories ever known… How did these women do it?
I am convinced that in American society, women don’t know what true romance is. We are so trained to think, act, and do things that we are told are...

I kinda couldn't be happier at this moment
God is freaking amazing. He has been teaching me sooooo much cool stuff. I’ll probably blog about all that later…
There’s someone in my life that makes me happy too, so that’s always a good thing.
Ever since that person, I have fallen so much more deeply in love with God, so obviously, that’s a good thing.
Church is in about 9 hours or so. Just got back from family...
